With the vision of becoming a world-class hydrogen energy technology company,Shanghai Jichong Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jichong Hydrogen Energy") was founded in December 2018 and have been focusing on the R&D and industrialization of fuel cells with independent intellectual property rights.

Since its establishment, Jichong Hydrogen Energy has established a professional team of more than 100 people, mainly young and middle-aged engineers, and more than 50% of the R&D team has a master's degree or above.

The core team members have participated in 34 person-time units national major projects in the field of hydrogen energy and fuel cells, and more than 260 person-years experience in the industry.The accumulated R&D expenditure was about 500 million yuan, and the R&D achievements have been demonstrated and applied in major events such as the Beijing Olympic Games and the Shanghai World Expo. As of December 2022, 123 patents have been applied and 71 patents have been authorized.  

The first generation fuelcell stack is at the international first-class level in terms of single stack power, power density, cold startup, cost, etc. The design verification and component development of the second generation,MH290, have been completed,and the rated power is 260kW.The  engineering prototype of the third generation,MH3110,whose designed rated power is 300kW, is expected to be completed in 2023. By now，the MH170,for which the durability&reliability test, system matching have been completed，have the applications in slag truck, ton cement mixer, heavy truck, municipal sanitation vehicle, city bus, and cleaning and sweeping vehicle and the rode test is on. As the first application in bus and cleaning and sweeping vehicle, have obtained the vehicle announcement. In the energy field, Jichong Hydrogen Energy has successfully developed COMPASS-S series fuel cell backup power. In addition, distributed power and combined heat and power generation system  for community are under developing simultaneously.
