Jinsha Mining Technology (Chongqing) Co., Ltd. and Changzhou Huihydrogen Workshop Technology Co., Ltd. have signed an equity investment agreement to advance the development and commercialisation of low-power hydrogen fuel cell systems for civilian applications.
Under the agreement, Jinsha Mining will invest RMB 20 million (approximately US$3 million) in Huihydrogen Workshop in three instalments. The funding will primarily support technology R&D, testing and certification, prototype development and refinement, and market delivery.
Huihydrogen Workshop specialises in the development and industrialisation of low-power hydrogen fuel cell systems. Its target applications include two-wheeled electric vehicles, industrial drones and portable outdoor power supplies. The company is continuing to advance product engineering and application validation across these markets.
Jinsha Mining's three shareholders bring backgrounds and resources associated with the Shapingba District Government of Chongqing, Chongqing University and Professor Dong Wenxin, a materials science expert. This combination provides support through local industrial resources, university research capabilities and materials technology expertise.
The investment is expected to strengthen links between the two companies in terms of capital, scientific research and industrial resources.
Looking ahead, the companies plan to deepen their cooperation in R&D and validation, manufacturing and product delivery, and market expansion for low-power hydrogen fuel cell systems. Through this partnership, they aim to accelerate the adoption of hydrogen technologies across a wider range of civilian applications.
